"In one of the parables of Jesus is about a camel and the eye of a needle"
"Rather get a camel through the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven" - they say, apparently, in the Gospel of Mark and Matthew. However, an image so hard to conceive, who gave many headaches, is based on a simple mistake in translation. Instead the word "gamala" (in Aramaic, camel), Jesus certainly spoke the word "gamta" (rope). The message remains similar, but the comparison is lacking.
