In the first six months of 2012, Paris was the most visited city in Europe. The data were provided in a report by the Paris Airport company (ADP), which operates international airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
Paris is the top tourist destinations.
Capital of the Lights, Paris ranks one among the most visited cities in Europe by foreigners. According to the report the company, the two Paris airports were transited by 42.8 million tourists.
Main foreigners who traveled to Paris this year are of Asian origin. The figure is 6.5% higher compared to the first six months of 2011. And tourists from the Middle East are more than last year, registering a 5.9% higher percentage. Other tourists who traveled to Paris between January-June 2012 are in Latin America and North America.
The most popular attractions are considered the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and Champs Elysees. In addition, in Paris cafes are very common on the banks of the Seine by foreign tourists.

London has attracted many tourists in the first half of 2012. Thus, Heathrow airport in London there were 42 million passengers.
London also appear in the top Best in Travel (Top 10 cities for 2012) conducted by the publication Lonely Planet. In this ranking, Lonely Planet puts London at No. 1, because of its permanent attractions as well as the Olympics held here in summer 2012. Recommendation from a famous travel publication, in terms of the objectives to be seen in London is the Tower Bridge, an iconic monument of the city.
After London, ranked third is Frankfurt city which attracted 27 million registered passengers at the airport.
In fifth place was Amsterdam, and Madrid 24 million, with 22 million.
