Efteling, Netherlands

Efteling is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. Located in the Dutch city Kaatsheuvel, Efteling can be visited throughout the year. In winter, Efteling story gets décor. Winter amusement park is lit and offers visitors wonderful toboggan run and an ice rink. Families with children can warm up with hot chocolate and mulled wine. A ticket for adults or children aged 4 years cost 32 euro.


Nutcracker, Europe

Winter, one of the finest performances to children's "Nutcracker". Ballet can be seen in several cities, such as London or Edinburgh. Tchaikovsky's ballet is played on various scenes in December and January. In Edinburgh, for example, the show takes place between 8 and 12 January 2013.


Kindermuseum, Vienna

In Vienna's Schonbrunn Palace is a museum dedicated to children, Kindermuseum. Children discover here how children lived centuries ago and that was the lifestyle of a child of the imperial family, compared to the life led middle-class child.

Small museum visitors have the chance to play with toys from the time of the Austrian Empire. Museum organizes tours for children and even birthday parties. Kindermuseum suitable for children aged 4 to 12 years. For an adult the ticket costs 7 euros and one for a child, 5.5 euros.


Natural History Museum Ice Rink, London

In front of the Natural History Museum in London, locals and foreigners can come with their children to have fun and enjoy winter. In front of the museum is installed a 1,000 square meter ice rink, functional until January 6, 2013.

Also here is a Christmas tree and a carousel for children. Entry costs £ 13.50 for adults and £ 9 for children. There are tickets for families, with 38 pounds. They provide access to a family of two adults, two children or one adult and three children.
