Secret Gardens of Paris

Secret Garden, Paris, France, Rodin Museum Garden, Sculpture The Thinker

Any person living in a big city at some point wants to retire in quiet places, not necessarily regular small gardens or parks.

It is important to know how to identify those areas and if you happen to get to Paris, then you just have to know that there are lesser known gardens, where certainly you are interested to walk.

Garden and Serres d'Auteuil

It is an exotic paradise. Houses approximately 6,000 plants brought from four corners of the world.

But the beauty of the garden lies in variety, as evidence of different ages, with design dating from 1791 until today.

Rodin Museum garden

It covers an area of 3 hectares and greets you with a few artworks of sculptor Auguste Rodin: "Le Penseur" ("The Thinker"), "Les Bourgeois de Calais" ("Bourgeois of Calais"), "Balzac", "Adam and Eve" etc.

The place is divided into two thematic areas: "Jardin d'Orphee" ("Orpheus Garden" - with plants and rocks, where there is the famous "Orpheus begs the gods") and "Le jardin des Sources", marked by water sources.

Buddhist Pantheon and his Zen Garden

For people under stress, the place is an annex of the Guimet Museum and hides a small garden, Japanese inspired, composed of pools, stone bridges and giant bamboo.

Inside, you can admire a group of 250 Japanese works collected by Emile Guimet, after his many trips to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Jardin d'Agronomie Tropicale

It is located near Nogent-sur-Marne. This magnificent green space of 4.5 hectares hides in a half-savage nature remains of Chinese, Tunisian or French Indochina's colonial era.

It gives you the impression that you are thousands of miles of Paris and you'll make a journey through time.

Pantheon Bouddhique

Turquoise mosaic on the floor, shaded arches, waterfalls, fountains, lush vegetation, and an oasis in the heart of Paris installed.

After you taste perhaps unmistakable Moroccan tea and you draw from hookah, an essential step is the visit to the Great Mosque.
