"Condoms were invented in Paris"
Condoms existed since antiquity. Most were obtained from the intestines of sheep or other animal origin membranes. Only in the second half of the nineteenth century were made of vulcanized rubber condoms. The time was taboo direct appointments. In Germany were called with shame "articles de Paris" or bladder of fish ("Fischblasen"). Casanova (1725 - 1798) speaks in its own biography "vetement Anglais" (English garb).
