"Mushrooms are not plants"

TRUE
After the redefinition mushrooms are not plants anymore. Thus, eukaryote are subdivided into four different groups: animal, plants, fungi and single-cell creatures. The latter are creatures mono- and sometimes multi-cellular (algae, for example). There are substantial differences between fungi and plants. For example, mushrooms have no chlorophyll or fortify their cell change with chitin, which happens only to animals. There are researchers who believe that the mushrooms were rather related to animals than plants.
