"Sugar ruin the teethes"

Sugar itself is not the source of problems. Teeth are protected by enamel, the hardest substance in the body. But enamel is sensitive to acids coming from food, and they are not only in sweets but also in fruit and fruit juice. Especially all sticky foods are dangerous, which is fixed to the teeth. They promote tartar formation, which is a combination of leftovers, bacteria and their metabolic products. Tartar can also form in about 24 hours. Bacteria contained in it - simple carbon hydrates like those of sugar, flour and potatoes - is transformed into acids, affecting, in turn, the enamel. The more often enabled these bacteria, the more acid is formed. Therefore it is more harmful to drink lime or apple juice, with small sips rather than eat a whole chocolate tablet once.
